First Point For Information
The Wessex Autistic Society, working in partnership with the National Autistic Society, provides an informatopn and advice service reflecting current research and provided by experienced advisors in autism. Our aim is to support you with any problems you have relating to autism.
You are welcome to visit by appointment, or to contact us by telephone, fax or email. We may even be able to arrange to visit you at home. All out staff are fully trained and highly experienced. All information we receive is treated with confidentiality; the information and advice we give is free, accurate, confidential and impartial.
All the information and advice we provide is FREE, as the service is funded entirely through grants and donations.
The Society provides a comprehensive information and advice service and, working in partnership with the National Autistic Society, has published some information sheets below which we hope you find useful. - The Society provides a comprehensive information and advice service, and as a member of the Dorset, Bournemouth & Poole Autism Focus Group, sponsors the production of an information pack for parents and carers of newly diagnosed children.
