The Wessex Autistic Society is a regional charity providing education, care and support services to people with an autistic spectrum disorder and their families. Due to our continuing development, we need flexible, reliable and self-motivated people who share our values to join the team for the following vacancies:
 
Teaching Assistant – Level 1 – full time, term time only
 
This role involves assisting in carrying out work programmes drawn up by the teacher in all areas of the curriculum and the recording and assessment of tasks as directed by the classroom teacher. Successful candidates will be able to maximise the use of their own skills and interests in assisting the teacher in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum to the pupils, have good Literacy and numeracy skills and experience of working in a school environment. Special needs experience is desirable but not essential. For this position we are offering a salary of £12,079.00 per annum
