'Outstanding' Wessex Lodge

Moving from 'Good' to 'Outstanding' in their most recent Ofsted inspection, Wessex Lodge is celebrating this impressive testament to the wonderful respite provision offered at the facility located in the grounds of Portfield School.

Paula Harvey-Gorbutt, Manager of Wessex Lodge comments; "It is wonderful to achieve such a result which helps to confirm and spread the awareness of the excellence of our provision at Wessex Lodge. It is testament to the wonderful staff we employ and the excellent facilities on offer that we have been credited with an 'Outstanding' from Ofsted. We are naturally delighted with this outcome."

Wessex Lodge is a modern purpose built facility for short breaks for children between the ages of two and 19 who have a diagnosis of autism or learning disability.

The latest Ofsted report will be uploaded to our website as soon as it becomes available.
