Trustee / Director(voluntary)

The Wessex Autistic Society is a thriving and dynamic regional charitable company providing education, care and support services to people with autistic spectrum disorders and their carers.

The Board of Directors (who are also the charity Trustees) are responsible for determining the strategic direction of the charity, ensuring that it complies with its charitable objects and statutory requirements and monitoring the performance of staff in delivering the strategy and in the provision of high quality services.

This is an interesting and rewarding voluntary role that would suit someone with a professional background in education, social care, business, finance or law.

For an informal discussion and to pursue further, please contact the Chief executive – Bob Lowndes – on 01202 483360 or alternatively, email r.lowndes@twas.org.uk for further information.
