Working For Us...
Join Our Team
The Wessex Autistic Society is one of the UK's leading regional charities and a significant employer in the area. Our teams are made up of a wide variety of people with many skill sets; from teaching assistants to community support workers, to fundraisers, finance staff and administrators.
From time to time, vacancies arise within our services and head office departments. We offer competitive salaries, a positive working environment, company pension scheme and a commitment to your own personal growth and development.
Maintaining Best Practice
The Wessex Autistic Society is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults with Autism and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We ensure our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment, and due to the nature of our services, all successful candidates will be subject to Criminal Records Bureau checks along with other relevant employment checks.
Volunteer for us
Our volunteers are a valued part of our team and we are always keen to hear from those who would like to donate their time and enthusiasm to make a difference to our work. Whatever your age or professional background, there are many ways for you to lend a helping hand.
