Life-Long Development
Developing skills for life and releasing the potential of each student is an ongoing priority throughout school life and beyond.
The process for transition to post-19 provision begins when our students are 14 and forms part of the annual review meeting each year after that. Staff are happy to accompany parents on visits to potential post-19 placements.
To date all students leaving our Life Skills provision have accessed appropriate adult services. These take a variety of forms, including:
- Adult Services provided by The Wessex Autistic Society
-
Specialist residential colleges
-
Part-time courses for students with SEN at local mainstream colleges
