Deputy Community Support Service Manager

Dorchester/Weymouth Area - £20, 907 - £23, 212 based on 39 hour working week  

This is an outreach support service working with children and adults with Asperger's syndrome and Autism both in supported living houses and in the local community. You will work in conjunction with the Community Support Service Manager in ensuring the effective delivery of this support service.  

This position will involve overseeing a team of staff and service users.  Main responsibilities will include drawing up monthly support rotas, conducting weekly meetings, supervisions for staff, contributing towards the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of individual services and to liaise with families and other professionals. 

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing a similar service and be able to demonstrate initiative, self-motivation and have excellent interpersonal skills.  You should possess a minimum NVQ Level 3 in a relevant discipline and have experience of working with individuals with ASD.
