Portfield is a non maintained special school registered with Ofsted for up to 80 children and young people with autistic spectrum condition across the UK.

A major part of the Wessex Autistic Society’s education and social care services, the school enjoys first class teaching and learning environments and high quality boarding accommodation for up to 36 students. Located in Christchurch on the edge of the New Forest and being close to the beautiful Dorset coast, the school affords opportunities for a positive quality of experience for both students and staff.

 Reporting into the Director of Portfield School Services the successful candidate will share our values, have excellent management skills, be a great team coach/player and have the capability to lead the design and delivery of a curriculum that supports the differentiated nature of this specialist service.
